Itinerary

Morning: Pick up from Mwanza and drive to Serengeti via Ndabaka Gate.
Wildlife Experience:
Western Serengeti is home to elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and buffalo.
You may encounter predators such as lions and spotted hyenas along the way.
Hippos and crocodiles thrive in the Grumeti River.
Afternoon: Picnic lunch in the park while watching wildlife on the open plains.
Evening: Continue with a game drive en route to Central Serengeti (Seronera), famous for its big cat populations (lion, leopard, cheetah).
Dinner & Overnight: Thorn Tree Camp – experience the magic of the bush under the Serengeti sky.

Early Morning: Sunrise game drive when predators are most active.
Wildlife Experience:
Central Serengeti is rich in wildlife year-round. Expect sightings of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeests and zebras.
Bird lovers will enjoy species like the secretary bird, kori bustard, and lilac-breasted roller.
Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration herds moving through.
Lunch: Picnic lunch near a hippo pool or shaded area.
Afternoon & Evening: Continue exploring the Seronera Valley, one of the best places in Africa to see lions hunting.
Dinner & Overnight: Return to Thorn Tree Camp for an evening by the campfire.

Morning: After breakfast, enjoy your final morning game drive as you exit Serengeti through Ndabaka Gate.
Wildlife Experience:
Chance to spot animals you may have missed earlier, such as topi, hartebeest, warthogs, and more elephants.
Hyenas and jackals are often active in the morning hours.
